Learning cities and regions revisited: The R3L+ project
This seminar* presented findings from the R3L+ project which took a case study approach to investigate issues of quality in the development of learning cities and regions. Speakers from three of the cases (Germany, Romania and the UK) provided an overview of their respective cases with reference to issues of partnership, participation and lifelong learning.
This was followed by a contributions from a representatives from the cities of Dundee and Glasgow who reported on their trajectories as a learning cities.
Responses to the presentations were provided by Martin Yarnit and Norman Longworth and this was followed by an open discussion with contributions invited from the audience.
