TNLC2014 Is Around the Corner
In just a few weeks, the 2014 Talloires Network Leaders Conference (#tnlc2014) will be well underway!
The most current version of the TNLC 2014 schedule is posted on the conference website. Confirmed plenary speakers include Reeta Roy, CEO of the MasterCard Foundation, Blade Nzimande, South African Minister of Higher Education and Training, and Naledi Pandor, South African Minister of Science and Technology. Other plenary sessions will touch on topics such as “Voices from the Global South” and “Strategic Directions – Institutional Visions and Strategies.” We are also very excited about the large number of breakout sessions across five different tracks: youth leadership, impact and incentives, economic development, social inclusion, and meetings and exchanges. The main conference program will be complemented by a presentation of the 2014 MacJannet Prize for Global Citizenship and an evening cultural event and dinner at the Solms-Delta Wine Estate.
We invite those of you attending to share your conference experience across social media using #tnlc2014 and those who are unable to attend to follow along and contribute virtually. Be sure to watch for pre-conference communications over the coming weeks!
Please note that because of TNLC 2014, our December newsletter will be published mid-month.
Sincerely,
Mark Gearan
