Report of Australian Learning Communities Network Regional Conference in May in Townsville

Subscribers will recall that the Australian Learning Communities Network held a Regional Conference in May in Townsville.  I think we all agree it was a great program with lots of opportunities to develop our skills.  It has taken a little while but I have now updated the webpage to include the presenters’ powerpoints as well as our report at this link; the report is also featured below for easy access. These will remain on the site for the next month so if you are interested in the main points made by the presenters you can download their presentations.

A number of participants mentioned that they were interested in keeping the momentum stimulated by the conference going so you might be interested to know that the Learning Communities Leadership Group is investigating ways to do so.  Once we have a firm plan we will let you know as some of you may wish to participate.

A thank you to those who attended the conference.  I look forward to continuing the dialogue centred on lifelong learning begun at the conference with delegates and other PASCAL subscribers.
