Cities & Education 2030_IIEP latest publications

I am glad to share with you IIEP’s Policy brief on the research conducted by IIEP and partners on cities in France, as well as the survey implemented by IIEP, UIL and the Global Network of Learning cities.

The research is now being conducted in five cities worldwide, in collaboration with the city of Medellin (Colombia), and the Centre for Sustainable Healthy Learning Cities and Neighbourhoods (SHLC) at the University of Glasgow in UK, and their partners in Bangladesh, the Philippines and Rwanda. SHLC is a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funded Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) project and is supporting its partners through its Capacity Development Acceleration Fund (CDAF). The cities involved are: Medellin, Kigali (Rwanda), Dhaka and Khulna (Bangladesh), and Manilla (Philippines).

I also invite you to read our latest blog on the topic, including the interview of the Secretary of Education of Medellin.

I will keep you informed of the results of this new phase of the research. In the meantime, feel free to contact me for more details on this research and IIEP’s activities.

With best regards,
