Global Video Dialogue Series on Climate Change - Website Available
Heather Pierce has sent this note on the Global Video Dialogue Series on Climate Change which provides useful references for the Preserving the Environment theme in the PIE exchanges:
We would like to share with you the results and resources from the Global Video Dialogue Series on Climate Change, organized jointly by the World Bank Institute’s Climate Change Practice and the World Bank country office in Pretoria, South Africa, which has covered key issues relevant to the upcoming United Nations Climate Conference (COP 17) in Durban in November/December 2011.
The knowledge sharing events under the Series took place between May and September 2011, and were designed for climate experts and practitioners from developed and developing countries - to learn, reflect, ask questions and hear from others. The topics covered included:
- Climate Resilient Cities
- Adaptation, Food Security and Rural Development
- Climate Finance
- Scaling up Mitigation Actions in Cities
- Education and Technology
The landing web-page, which contains the videos and materials from all sessions, can be accessed through this link.
