Judith Jensen

Dr Judith Jensen is Coordinator of Lifelong Learning with the Townsville Library Service.  In this role she administers the Library’s delivery of learning programs for all ages by a team of enthusiastic and talented professionals.  She also administers the learning community initiative of Council and has developed the Lifelong Learning Strategic Action Plan that provides a strategic framework to guide Townsville City Council’s work with the community to facilitate the development of Townsville as a learning community.  She manages the NBN Townsville Digital Hub project which provides residents with online training and the opportunity to experience NBN-enabled services and technology.  Sessions include video-conferencing, using internet TV and skype, online computer training, using new applications and devices such as iPads, e-book readers as well as shopping online. This provides us with an excellent opportunity to develop our learning community and link with other NBN first release sites
