Cities everywhere face critical challenges; a global pandemic, social justice reckonings, climate change, and geopolitical turmoil, yet we were overwhelmed by the level of thought and care that went into this year's applications. Their projects focus on health, education, mobility, public space, and sustainability, with real impacts and successes, advancing the standard of urban planning and design achievable by city governments for the wellbeing of their citizens.
